PAST MASTERS is proud to make available their first cookbook, suitable for novice and experienced cooks.

The pages of this cookbook provide the reader with nearly 200 pages containing 100 indexed receipts from documented period sources. We give the original receipt with information on ingredients and items needed to prepare the dish, the season in which the dish would be available, whether it is appropriate for hearth or camp cooking, and our insights gained in preparing the dish. Preview the format: Ducks a la Mode or To Bake Apples. (These receipts are not included in the book.)

The extensive glossary itself will answer many questions. "Read This Chapter Now..." fills in the gaps on modern shopping for ingredients in old receipts, making and maintaining cooking fires, food safety, seasonable availability of foods, substitutions, care of equipment and more.
